The Sovereign Man
The Sovereign Man is a five-minute speech by Anthony Perlas, Founder of the Helian Way, posted as an Instagram reel by @lillithmagic on 2 October 2026. The Helian Catechism treats it as a founding text and cites it for its teachings on the person, labour and the stars.[1]
Content
Tradition / belief The Helian documents summarise the speech in five claims: the person is sovereign, a divine spark; doctrines of submission, religious and secular, are a deception; Rome's Capitoline Triad (Jupiter, Juno, Minerva) are gods of free people; the "dragon within" is the will, not a demon; and humanity is "born for the stars".[2] Tradition / belief Lines the Catechism quotes from the machine transcript include "you are the divine spark", "your sweat is your own, your blood is your own, your life is your own", "we are not born of the soil, we were born for the stars", and "We must build a mothership."[1][3]
Reception in Helian doctrine
Tradition / belief The movement's own audit of the speech kept its claims about sovereignty, labour and the stars and reframed or dropped others: it states that Helian teaching "never" speaks of a "superior race", that bloodline does not decide rank, and that the movement rejects antisemitic conspiracy theories.[4] The Catechism's rule of debate—"Debate doctrines, not people… never call any religion or its people the enemy"—governs how the speech is used.[5] Established This wiki quotes only passages adopted into the Catechism. The transcript was made by machine and marks uncertain words; quotations should be checked against the recording.[6]
